Rental Terms + Conditions

These Rental Terms & Conditions govern all bookings, rentals, and services provided by Oasis Cove Adventures (“Oasis Cove,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By making a booking or rental with Oasis Cove Adventures, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Rental Terms & Conditions.

1. Bookings & Deposits

All bookings require a 50% deposit at the time of reservation to secure your rental.

  • The deposit confirms your booking and reserves the selected dates.

  • The remaining balance is due prior to departure, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Any amount displayed as a “discount” at checkout reflects the deposit applied and does not reduce the total booking value.

2. Cancellations by the Customer

If you have to cancel your booking, the following policy applies:

  • 48 hours or more before your scheduled booking: Your deposit will be fully refunded.

  • Between 24 and 48 hours before your scheduled booking: Your deposit (25% of the total booking value) will be forfeited.

  • Less than 24 hours before your scheduled booking, or no-shows: The full booking amount will be charged, and no refund will be issued.

How to Cancel

All cancellations must be submitted by email to: oasiscoveadventures@gmail.com

Phone calls, messages, or social media communication do not constitute an official cancellation unless confirmed by email response from Oasis Cove Adventures.

3. Cancellations by Oasis Cove Adventures

Your safety is our top priority. Oasis Cove Adventures reserves the right to cancel or modify bookings due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Unsafe ice conditions

  • Severe or hazardous weather

  • Mechanical or operational issues

  • Any condition deemed unsafe by our team

If Oasis Cove Adventures cancels your booking due to safety concerns:

  • You will receive a full refund, including your deposit.

  • No penalties or fees will apply.

Please note, weather conditions considered unsafe do not include poor visibility, overcast skies, or lack of sun unless they present a genuine safety risk.

4. Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method whenever possible. Please allow 5–10 business days for refunds to process, depending on your financial institution.

5. Arrival, Check-In & Access to the Ice

Guests are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled booking window. Upon booking, Oasis Cove Adventures will provide:

  • Directions and parking information

  • Meeting instructions

  • Access details for your rental(s)

Access to rentals may involve walking, mobile transport, or guided access depending on conditions. Guests must follow all staff instructions at all times.

6. Rental Use & Responsibilities

All rentals are set up and inspected prior to arrival. Guests agree to:

  • Treat rentals with care

  • Use rentals only for their intended purpose

  • Follow all safety instructions provided by staff

Guests may not relocate rentals, alter equipment, or access restricted areas without permission. Any damage beyond normal wear may result in additional charges.

7. Safety on the Ice

Ice conditions are monitored regularly, and ice huts are only placed when conditions are deemed safe.

Guests agree to:

  • Follow staff instructions at all times

  • Remain within designated areas

  • Notify Oasis Cove Adventures immediately of any safety concerns

Failure to follow safety instructions may result in early termination of the rental without refund.

8. What to Bring & Personal Responsibility

Guests are responsible for bringing:

  • Appropriate clothing and footwear

  • Food, beverages, and personal items

  • Fishing gear and bait (unless otherwise arranged)

Oasis Cove Adventures is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

9. Respect for the Outdoors

Oasis Cove Adventures operates with respect for nature and the surrounding environment. Guests agree to:

  • Dispose of garbage properly

  • Respect wildlife

  • Leave the area in the condition it was found

Failure to do so may result in additional charges and/or future booking restrictions.

10. Alcohol & Conduct

Alcohol consumption must comply with all local laws and regulations. Guests are expected to act responsibly at all times.

Oasis Cove Adventures reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a rental without refund if behavior is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate.

11. Limitation of Liability

Participation in outdoor and ice-based activities involves inherent risks. By booking with Oasis Cove Adventures, guests assume all risks associated with these activities.

Oasis Cove Adventures shall not be held liable for injury, loss, or damage except where required by law.
